Paper Goods
SAVE THE DATE
The date is set, love is in the air and you are ready to shout from the rooftops. “What’s next?” you say – it’s time to shout out the date on paper through your save the date! This is the first paper good that will greet your guests whether you want it to be fun, classic or chic, you want it to be you!
INVITATION SUITE
Typically sent out 8-6 weeks prior to the wedding. This is your chance to give your guests a preview of all the wedding details you have worked so hard on. Receiving a beautifully handcrafted invitation will be like opening a gift from you. Never underestimate the power of a personalized custom invitation. You will have your guests owing and awing for days.
RESPONSE CARD aka R.S.V.P.
This is traditional in most wedding suites. The idea is to allow your guests to R.S.V.P. to your BIG DAY and for you to know how many guests are attending. Menu options & wedding weekend itinerary can be included on the Response Card. You can have a traditional R.S.V.P. card or go a bit modern by making it a postcard (which also helps save on costs).
RECEPTION CARD
This tells your guests where the reception is located. It is typically only used if the reception is at a different location then the ceremony venue. If your reception & ceremony are located at the same venue a simple copy of “Celebration to Follow” or “Reception Immediately Following” can be added to your invitation to let your guests know where the party is.
ACCOMMODATIONS CARD
A great way to help guests plan their stay while attending your wedding. Typically brides reserve several room blocks for guests at 2-3 hotels with varying price ranges close to the wedding site. This card will provide guests all the necessary details in reserving a room with phone numbers, deadlines and contact info.
HAND DRAWN MAP
We love to create hand-drawn maps. A map is a great way to show guests your area. Maps showcase important landmarks; maybe it’s where you had your first kiss, where you got engaged, your first date, etc. Also, fun symbols are added to the map such as wine glasses to indicate your rehearsal dinner location, or sushi to indicate your favorite restaurant. The maps are fully custom – a true reflection of where you call home.
Maps can also include directions and weekend itinerary.
DIRECTIONS CARD
Add on to the map with addresses of venues and hotels and driving directions or have a completely separate card. Consider the hotel, church, venue, and airport when planning out directions.
REHEARSAL INVITATION
To make your life a bit easier why not include the rehearsal dinner invite with the invitation? You can even include a line on your response card to determine who will be attending the dinner. Simple and easy!
TIMELINE CARD
Perfect for a wedding weekend or a jam packed day of activities on your wedding day. The timeline card will let your guests know exactly where to go and what time to be there. These cards can be added into your welcome bags, on the back of your map or enclosed in your invitation.
PROGRAM
Traditionally programs guide your guests through your ceremony by providing the order of events, explanation of religious traditions, readings and the wedding party who’s who. Have fun with your programs by including your proposal story, fun photos of you and your hubby to be, photos of the bridal party, or a custom map to the reception site (if at a different location). Programs come in all shapes and sizes.
Single Sheet Style Program (4 x 10)
Most popular style with just enough space to include all the information that means the most. This style allows you to customize with artwork and ribbon if desired. Each includes formatting, your choice of artwork and papers.
Flip Style Program (5 x 7)
This flip booklet is a fun alternative for your program. This style allows more room than the traditional single sheet program. Customize format, font, paper choice, artwork and ribbon accent.
Fan Style Program – (6 x 7)
A perfect program for an outdoor wedding. This style includes your information formatted, choice of artwork and ribbon accent.
Booklet Style Program (5.5 x 5.5)
The booklet style program is the ultimate in elegance and will become a keepsake for your guests. Includes formatting up to 4 pages, choice of artwork & ribbon closure.
Petal Fan Program
The petal style program features up to 4 printed petals attached with a simple grommet.
ESCORT & PLACE CARDS
The escort card is usually the first thing your guests see as they enter into the reception. These cards direct each guest where to sit. This might seem like a small detail that can be skipped over, but escort cards are very important. Having a seating chart is crucial for all receptions, even the smallest reception. You don’t want your mother’s aunt’s friend’s cousin taking up prime real estate at one of the closest tables while your grandmother or even parents are stuck in the back with bad views. Have fun with your escort cards by adding embellishments, creating a fun map to find their table or printing on shells. The possibilities are endless. The place card is usually found on the table indicating which seat the guest should sit in. Usually place cards are used in a formal setting or if you want your guests to mingle with new people.
MENU CARDS
These are great for all eating arrangements whether it’s a food station, buffet or a multi-course plated dinner, they let your guests know what they are about to chow on, what choices they have, and where the food is located. A menu card is also an opportunity to give guests special information about the foods you have chosen, like if it is locally grown, organic, kosher, or why you chose that as your meal option – maybe it is your favorite meal or the first dinner that your hubby ever cooked for you.
THANK YOU CARDS
This card completes your wedding stationery suite. Make sure to thank your guests for attending your wedding and giving you gifts. Even if your guests didn’t bring a gift, it’s still nice to send them a thank you card to show them you are grateful that they were able to join in on the celebration.
